I am not much of a hunter, however, I do like the outdoors. This book also may interest me because you stated that there was a twist at the end that was unexpected...I enjoy books like that! From your explaination this book does seem good for a male or female interested in outdoors activities and it seems to give a good message. However, are you supposed to read the other "Brian" books before this one? Or does it not matter? That was a little bit confusing to me.
I do think that reading the other books would give a better understanding what Brian had gone though to become the person he has, but this book has enough adventure and action to keep most readers satisfied either way I think.
